John Daniel Statler, M.D.

Dr. John Daniel Statler

Dr. Statler earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA., in 1994.

Six years later, he completed radiology residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Following his residency training, Dr. Statler completed vascular and interventional radiology fellowship training at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.

He is an associate professor of radiology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md.

Dr. Statler has been a lecturer at several medical conferences, and he has written numerous articles for medical publications.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and earned the Certificate of Additional Qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

He is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology.

Since 2007 Dr. Statler has been an attending radiologist at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Va. Prior to moving to Fredericksburg, Dr. Statler served as a radiologist in the U.S. Army.

At the Virginia Interventional Vascular Associates, Dr. Statler focuses on cancer therapy, vascular malformations, pediatric intervention, biliary intervention and limb salvage.
