Michael P. McDermott, M.D.

Dr. McDermott earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine in 1992.

He completed his residency training in diagnostic radiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center where he also received his fellowship training in interventional radiology.

He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Prior to joining Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg and VIVA, Dr. McDermott was an interventional radiologist at Sinai Medical Center and Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore and a diagnostic radiologist at Liberty Medical Center, also in Baltimore.

He has written several articles that have appeared in medical publications and has presented information at numerous medical conferences.

Among his professional affiliations are the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America.
