Victor J. D'Addio, MD, FACS

Dr. D'Addio earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, in 1992.
He completed his internship and surgical residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, and his vascular surgery fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. His published research includes studies related to femoral bypass procedures and femoral reconstruction.
Dr. D'Addio is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery and vascular surgery. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
He has provided vascular surgery care to the greater Fredericksburg area since 2005 and currently serves as medical director of the Rappahannock Wound Healing Center.
Dr. D'Addio joined Virginia Interventional and Vascular Associates (VIVA) and its parent group, Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg, in May 2009, helping the practice expand capabilities for treating patients with vascular conditions.
At VIVA, Dr. D'Addio focuses on minimally invasive and traditional surgical treatments for peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, aneurysms, and other vascular conditions. He specializes in open and endovascular surgery, carotid endarterectomy, surgical aneurysm repair, surgical bypass, dialysis access, vein phlebectomy, radiofrequency ablation, endovenous laser therapy for varicose veins, and sclerotherapy for spider veins.
